The electric vehicles of the Antique Cars ride were designed to wind their way through the trees of the Enchanted Forest.   Construction of the ride was relatively simple with a narrow concrete roadway being poured and then a steel guide rail which supplied the power to the cars being bolted to the roadway. The cars were then attached to the rail and a small loading area was built. The cars were ready to roll on opening day on July 1st, 1974 along with the rest of the park.
