  1. If money really didn't matter, I'd finish redoing the rest of the park to have the level of theming that the Kingda Ka and El Toro areas have, rounding out our ride collection and adding shows along the way. Finally, I'd finish it off with a top level coaster (face it, we haven't gotten a standout one in a while) and add a hotel with transportation systems to accommodate the park becoming a resort. This would pretty much give the park the rides of Cedar Point with the theming of Busch Gardens, with the accommodations to attract travelers from around the country.
  2. ^ The El Diablo restraints work the same way as on the B&M coasters. This lawsuit seems to be trying to make something out of nothing to me.
  3. It's the ride from Planet Coaster made real! I like this addition a lot, it's unique and gives us another thrilling flat ride, and also puts another big attraction in the Movietown/Metropolis area. Definitely better than the Skywarp to me.
  4. I'm not an ACE member but I'd like to know what's "spectacularly amazing" about the chicken nuggets at the buffet? Lol
  5. Both of these new slides look great! These should help the Boardwalk a lot, the one time I went it couldn't handle the crowds it was getting.
  6. I really hope it's not a Skywarp. I don't expect us to get the most expensive addition after Joker and Justice League back to back, but I'd prefer a different thrill flat ride like the giant frisbee or new style enterprise.
  7. Although my favorite is 2006 because of El Toro, Hurricane Harbor added a second gate to our property and was pretty well themed when it first opened so I picked it.
  8. I am now at 101 coasters! My 100th was Flying Turns at Knoebels, I was glad to have one of the most unique rides out there be the one. Between those two you can't go wrong either way! Congrats on reaching 50!
  9. I finally got out to the park for the first time of the season. I expected it to not be crowded and it was pretty empty all day so I got on a lot of rides. Since my phone was in lockers all day I didn't get to take any pictures unfortunately. After arriving at the park around 12:30, I went to El Toro first. Here I had my first encounter with the new loose articles policy. Although it's a bit annoying I bought the movable all day locker and it ended up being pretty handy. I rode twice with station waits both times. Operations were also really good here, with the trains being sent out withou
  10. It looks really cool, better than I was expecting. I look forward to trying it!
  11. It depends on what kind of hotel it would end up being, but unless the hotel was something special probably not. I could see it being good for people who travel to the park from farther away though.
  12. I'd like to see both, but I chose thrill rides because I really want to see us get that giant frisbee ride that Six Flags has been adding to a few of the parks the past couple of years. A ride package with that and a couple of family flat rides would be great.
  13. Bowcraft is about 20 mins from my hometown and was the first park I ever went to when I was younger, the bigger coaster was my first of that size too. From what I remember, they were steadily adding bigger rides in the early-mid 2000s but they tried switching to pay one price right around when the recession started and it sorta ended up doing them in. I think the last ride they added was the music express in 2007(?). So unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me if it closed either.
  14. I'll be passing on the VR, just looking at the spiders in those promo pics was scary enough for me. I love Zumanjaro though and will still ride without it. On the plus side, if the VR slows down Zumanjaro's operations, maybe Kingda Ka's line will move more quickly.
  15. ^ I agree, out of all the park's removed rides Chiller is the one I most wish I had the chance to get on.
  16. My most number of re-rides would be when I rode Nitro 11 times in a row on my HITP trip a couple of months ago. Very cold but worth it!
  17. ^ Do you have a smartphone? If you do why not just download the Snapchat app off of the App Store and be able to see the construction pics that way?
  18. Yes, the lighting looked great on it during HITP and I'd like to see it year round! In fact I'd like it if the park was better lit at night in general during the regular season.
  19. Green Lantern is the only coaster in the park that I would honestly say I don't like so I'd be perfectly fine with it being removed. IMO pretty much any other coaster type in its spot would be an improvement.
