Wow! Kudos Harry, wonderful job. If it was actually a permanent fixture id donate my yum yum palace blueprints and other memorabilia. I am so happy to see the park and the little things like this happening. Being I relocated to charlotte NC and now carowinds is my home park I havnt been to Gadv in many years (the last time I was there I remember riding the parachutes to get pics of GASM's demolition) so I rarely keep up with Gadv but I still check in and see whats new through this site. Couldn't do it without you!

u sit in seats like batman and it swings back and fourth while spinning, the one i rode went almost over it took you up pretty high. its a fun ride.

i rode a ride like that in ocean city maryland and it was amazing, i thought to myself, why in the hell dosnt ga have one of these? its a VERY fun ride. and old country just needs ti become gotham in my opinion. the dark knight and chiller dont look right there, make it gotham..

i try to avoid buying food at the park actually, for 2 reasons, the cost and like this forum is about, the variety, if i eat at the park its at best of the west or momma floras cucina, and i have a ritual , i cant leave the park without a waffle cone ice cream, and since they put all the fake cold stones and ben and jerrys theres only one, at the front gate.

return the original size of the fountain!

o, but wait they would'nt do this because they'd lose a smoking section, lol.

agree, when someone asked me for direction when i was working attitudes i have to tell them go around this , take a left here,the a right there...to much when all i could say is, follow the path strait down.

these are great thrill rides, i love rising ...stopping and waiting for the drop.

this is a great idea,but unfortunatly since the accident this summer i dont think well see one any time soon.

This is the best one so far.. i want one on top of the showcase theater viewing chiller, or should i say chillers grave.

carousel needs one, its enclosure and kinda off topic but since carousels cover looks similer to charachter cafe it also needs a new, detailed paintjob, now is the time to do it with the paint company they partnered with.

great idea, a train ride everybody likes , no matter how much of a thrill seeker you are.

all the years that i've been to sf i have never ridden a monster style ride..

it would be nice to se a light show of some sort on the ferris wheel, that would be cool. and like mentioned all led to save money.

great idea, Busch gardens had that for griffon when i went.although the wait was only 5 minutes and i rode 5 times front row.

i do , its a great ride and looks like crap.

showcase had a good reason, the ac was broke and holes in the roof, we had employee party's in the morning and afternoon, everyone went to the morning one because in the afternoon it was 100 degrees in there.BUT there is still no excuse the ac could have been fixed and roof patched in no time.

good idea, but, i think the park would not do this, it might affect safari admission , not alot but you know how sf is.

i agree big time i was thinking about this as i walked through the park this summer, its getting harder and harder to find shade.

i worked in jersey shore candies some times this year and in late june this was brought to our attention, we advertised in the park about the breakfast and when it started alot of people took advantage of it but slowly less and less came, i think this idea is good though because the guest stopped coming because it was only croissants and bagels and coffee. so a breakfast shop would be nice, specially for those who get there early and stand around waiting for them to drop the ribbon.
