I don't think we'll see another Johnny Rockets and wouldn't be too surprised to see them all go away in another year or two. There has been a change in priorities and Johnny Rockets (which is owned by Dan Snyder) is LOW on that list. Theater buildings like that could easily be used for other purposes. The building that they used for the Scooby Doo dark ride at King's Dominion was an interactive restaurant before it was converted. There's no reason the Right Stuff building couldn't get a similar makeover.

A theatre would be great, but I doubt they would do that. They already have 3 theatres sitting dormant already.

I think an indoor flat ride would be cool, like a space theme scrambler ride in the dark with lasers and loud music would be awesome.

But seriously, Time Warner owns HBO and Six fLags has liscence to use time warner properties. What I'm thinking is if Boardwalk empire becomes a hit, make the area can be renamed Boardwalk Empire and have the area rethemed to a 1930's AC Boardwalk.

Six Flags holds IP licenses limited to the Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics properties. "Boardwalk Empire" looks to be an intriguing show, but hardly family friendly.

anyone know what the construction for the ride is? Or is it just getting taken down now? A sign outside the ride just say "Under Construction" but inside it looks like it is being used for storage.

At this point construction was halted with the time and money being spent on Green Lantern instead.

As for the Right Stuff, I've wondered why they didn't make the ride film into something along the lines of "Afterburner the Ride" instead of just breaking the sound barrier.

When Time Warner rethemed Parachuter's Perch when The Right Stuff was added, they should have taken the air/space theme one step further:
