Justin 0
Sarajevo Bobsled's queue house would not have been greatly themed to scream machine anyway. The old queue for Gasm will need everything to make it look the way itvdid when the ride first opened..

They wanted to use Sarajevo Bobsled's STATION for the Great American Scream Machine. Im sorry, sheesh. No need to fit, i was estatic when i found out they were building an entirely new STATION for Green Lantern. I wouldn't think that the old station would have been in the correct place anyway. I am happy we are getting a new station with materials that don't rust and fall apart. I am hoping we do get a covered queue though so we do not bake out in the sun waiting to ride. GAcoaster 368
Cool, the special (not green) sections have arrived for the corkscrews!
Justin 0
I noticed that and I was wondering why those pieces were not painted. for some reason I feel that not all of the pieces are in the parking lot, and it did not look like there were a lot of pieces in Ohio at the plant. 29yrswithaGApass 1,554
Green Lantern will be the first coaster since Lightnin' Loops to have black over-the-shoulder restraints. Every new ride since 1987 has had bright yellow or bright orange ones.
Justin 0
Does anyone know if they ripped up the pavement in the infield of the coaster? I know the Pavement underneath GASM was still there. I can't really tell if the pavement is there or it is covered i a layer of dirt.
BuddyChrist 40
^They have ripped up the pavement, so the end result will most likely end up looking like Superman. ^^Harry I thought that the restraints had to be brightly colored on coasters because of NJ amusement law? Or am I just imagining things

Or am I just imagining things No, it's not a NJ thing, but up until now it was a Great Adventure requirement. They started using orange (or a bright color) after the Lightnin' Loops accident. Here's the Great Nor'easter in Wildwood with black harnesses.
CoasterPrince 0
Instead of orange and yellow all the time, Gadv should've switched it up with different colors... Teal looks good
The Master 147
While I am looking forward to the coaster I wish they had picked a different theme for it. Besides being bored from all the superhero themes at GADV, I just saw the trailer for Green Lantern and it looks really stupid.
acq10uaz 0
^I have to disagree. They were going for the Iron Man feel of it. I think it will be a great movie. Instead of orange and yellow all the time, Gadv should've switched it up with different colors... Teal looks good Teal...? For GL?
CoasterPrince 0
Not Green Lantern. Past coasters like Ka or Bizarro. They would look good with teal. Maybe even Batman and Toro.
