Great Adventurer 5
Looking great! They're making a lot of progress even with the snow.
ThemeParkRider 9
Thats pretty cool. I'm guessing that is the mounted on top of the Parachutes?
The Master 148
I can't acess the webcam but I have to guess they most have plowed the construction site since the snow is still pretty deep and there has been little melting. gafreak 24
why isnt the FB stream live, but your link is tom?
GAcoaster 368
I think there's a glitch in the Facebook feed that it hasn't updated. It gets its pictures from the link I posted.
Justin 0
The Cam isn't really doing its job at the moment. You can't really see anything.
scipiomask 1
Well, the weather is pretty nasty. It's not really their faults.
GAcoaster 368
Actually it's showing more now since the rain and warm weather are melting the snow and it's now easier to see the supports which are already in place than it was with all the snow. Justin 0
They are updating the pictures regularly. Glad to see the GLcam is working.
Railer 48
Iv'e still been thinking about the yellow corkscrew. That whole section I bet will be part of the "pre-show". The que will run under that track between the two tunnels.

Railer 48
So did Angel, Jenn, and Kevin give away any more detail's of the ride's Themeing? Or any more info for the park in general at Eastcoaster?

Or any more info for the park in general at Eastcoaster? I am not sure... I didn't get to go this year.
Railer 48
They posted of their Facebook page a "Green Lantern" construction video, that was shown at Eastcoaster. Just went up. There is a "Great American Scream Machine" tribute video as well. This site has a photo credit at the end in the classic park font as well. It is set to "Bittersweet Symphony". gafreak 24
the six flags website, has a live feed cam for green lantern , it appears to update every few seconds, you can see cars taillights in background, most likly security, very cool, would love for the park to extend this cam durring the season to help gauge crowds througout the park

Kevin at SFGA did a great job putting together all the photos to make the Scream Machine video!
gafreak 24
doesnt look like much work was going on this week at the GL site
CoasterPrince 0
Green Lantern in person really does TOWER over the park. An intimidating site for sure.
gafreak 24
looks like some underground utility work and more supports were done today
CHILLERLC1 0
All the supports to the inclined loop and the MCBR run look to be installed. Today in the morning I watched the mobile crane on cam put the last tripod support in for the inclined loop and apparently the remainder they had preassembled in the parking lot placed where the corkscrews are. I used pics of Chang on rcdb.com to confirm the locations of tripod supports setups. Edited February 21, 2011 by CHILLERLC1
gafreak 24
i think in march a majority of track will be done, with testing and effects inplace starting in mid to late april, then opening memorial day weekend!
CHILLERLC1 0
The cam won't do it justice to compare the GL shade of green to Kingda Ka's but it's all about construction views not deciphering colors.
Justin 0
I wish they would move the camera more towards the lift hill/first drop. I know most of the construction has been going on in the infield, but i want to see more track construction instead of support construction.
gafreak 24
Looks like some footers being poured, possibly for theme elements
