Retro Trip Report: October 9, 1988

Recommended Posts

Those pictures were really cool to see. It's hard to believe it's the same park when I look at some of those pictures. Even though I went to the park a few times in the late 80's, it was only to ride the kiddie rides and don't remember anything about going to the park back then so that also made the pictures interesting to see what the rest of the park was like at that time.

I was there a few times in 1988. I was in the Air Force and stationed in MD at the time and took my wife (then girlfriend) who lived in Philly there. I took her on Free Fall and since then she won't ride anything extreme. I also meet some of my family (I lived in Long Island) at times there. Seemed there was alot more to do there back then.

This is really cool to see. All a good few years before I was born, but really cool to see trip reports that date back so far. Keep these coming!
