QUESTION #214: After taking a trip to the real Oktoberfest in Munich Germany, he decided that a Bavarian festival would be a good idea for the slower fall months at Great Adventure. Who was he?

Either Larry B. Cochran, Allen Krantz, or Bob Kochane (not sure of the spelling of his last name).

If I can have only one guess, it would have to be Cochran.

^&^^ :)

ANSWER: "Upon visting the 1979 Munich event, Six Flags Great Adventure General Manager, Larry Cochran, saw the atmosphere of the New Jersey family entertainment center as a natural environment for recreating the best of an Oktoberfest. 'The rides and attractions, our natural wooded setting, and the feeling of family togetherness are already here,' says Cochran." - 1980 SFGA Press Release OKTOBEFEST: AN AMUSEMENT TRADITION.

The Carousel.
