I hated when Six Flags did the whole Slurpee Merge. I never see anyone drinking them anyway!

what is ERT?

Exclusive Ride Time. Companies and groups can basically rent out a ride. Usually it's before or after the parks open. Organizations like ACE host events that have a few hours of ERT on a few rides, only for event attendees. Companies use it as a promotion, where something like buying a slurpee, printing out a coupon, or presenting your Discover card will grant access to ERT.

I've always preferred Slurpees over Icee's.

Icee makes Slurpees for 7/11, they also own Slush Puppy. SF is cutting the 7/11 middleman out.

I believe that's true but there is a difference in them. I worked in an office that had a 7/11 next door. When you get a slurpee every day for a few years then go to an icee you notice the difference

The other difference is 7-11 stores have diet flavor Slurpees, Icee claims they can't find a sugar substitute that works.

Even though they are the same manufacturer, they could still have different formulations. They have to be careful not to compete with their own products, know as market cannibalism.

I can't wait until it is warm enough to want to have an icee....

I get them at WaWa a lot. Glad they are having them at the park.

I remember buying discount tickets for Hershey at a Turkey Hill store near the park.
