We had Nathan's hot dogs for dinner on Saturday at the Yum Yum Cafe. I was always a fan of the in park Nathan's restaurant so when i heard it was being replaced I didn't think the hot dogs would be the same at the other restaurants. Happily, except for not having Nathan fries, the hot dogs were the same and really good.

I like that they are now being served all over the park. I tried them from the Boardwalk location on Sunday and it was good they were just across the walkway from the former location and all the loaded dog options on the dining pass was a nice improvement since I think it used to be only 2 plain hot dogs and fries at the old location.

I think the loaded options there are actually a step back from last year. It was a single foot-long hot dog with fries, but the "loaded" options last year were

  • Plain
  • Mac and Cheese Dog
  • Italian Dog
  • Piggy Dog
  • Taco Dog
  • Cuban Dog

Plus even more of the minor usual hot dog toppings (Sauerkraut, etc.)

Yeah, you're right. I forgot about that place. I never tried any of the food there, the 1 time I was going to, it was closed.
