According to the park's Facebook page and website, the WW Membership event was pushed back one week. I wonder what caused the change. At least judging from FB photos, it looked like construction was on schedule. Maybe some more testing is needed?

Quite often it's the approval from the state or local authorities. I still remember the passholder event for Golden Kingdom where they hadn't received the certificate of occupancy for any of the buildings so we could walk through and look into the buildings, but couldn't go in them.

Rumor is the ride manufacturer hadn't sent some paperwork along and it was pushing inspection back.

Membership rides will begin the evening of May 23rd after the media event.

Is there a specific time announced? I have my last final around 1 that day and would love to be home in enough time to get on it early!

The media event ends at 1:30 and the ride is suppose to open later that evening to members.  Any operating issues aside, I would guess around 3pm. That is just my guess and not the park’s.

I was at the park Friday, and saw the me membership line at the entrance was 3 times longer than the season pass entrance line.

Aren’t members able to use any line? They probably could have saved time using a non member line.

That's may plan!  I would say I will be the guy with the camera but that doesn't help at a media event!

Going to be at the park (my first time in 25 or so years!) next Thursday, May 23!  Got Gold Plus memberships for my daughter and I, but I'm taking a day off from how busy work's been and going to the park that day!

I'm bummed I won't be able to make it to the Comic event over the weekend, since there are things with my daughter going on.  But we're planning on going a lot!  Looking forward to going back next week!
