29yrswithaGApass 1,552
Daily operations are finished for the season. Luckily there are still plenty of days left to enjoy the park before it closes.
Lemur 72
It feels like they're starting Fright Fest earlier this year. For some reason, I thought there were two "bonus weekends" between end of daily ops and start of Fright Fest. Or I could just be misremembering.
29yrswithaGApass 1,552
Fright Fest is a huge draw for the park. They are smart to capitalize on it and bring in the extra attendance which they would not if they just had just filler weekends. After all, if Disney World can start Halloween in mid August then mid-September is not out of line. On a sidenote, I think this is the first time that Fright Fest will begin with Hurricane Harbor still open!
GAcoaster 368
I just hope that when we visit in December the park is open. We missed out on SFOG and GA because of snow last December...

Anyone else heard this, or is it complete nonsense? Personally I’m not buying it just yet... Could Super Loop could move to near by Justice League and Cyborg and themed to DC anyways in 2019? Unfortunately I think the claim is true. I’ve heard from multiple people in management that this will be moving to La Ronde as their new for 2019 attraction- “Chaos”.

TylerRRC1972 17
If El Diablo does go bye bye, it could be a hint at where a 2020 Coaster is going.

I could see Six Flags upgrading the older loops with the features of the new loops installed in 2018, which are quieter and have a computer controlled cycle instead of a joystick. harry2004 17
if el diablo moved to metropolis, i could see it retheme to what pineracer been saying, the flash speed force, and used the space for 2 flat rides, one flat reusing el diablo name and a zamperla sombrero with another walkway to golden kingdom Edited September 10, 2018 by harry2004
Njdevl9500 10
I’m hoping that removing Diablo is the official start of land clearing for a new coaster. They promised something exciting was going to replace RT. Hopefully 2020 is when they deliver on that promise.
rj1972 15
I have absolutely no basis for my comment, but I find it hard to believe that the economics makes sense to move El Diablo. This is not a high budget ride, and I would have to think that the cost of demantling, shipping, and re-installing El Diablo is just not worth it.
harry2004 17
i remember 2 seasons ago, there is a cartoon network banner about the powerpuff girls and teen titans go crossover, could this be the beginning of six flags being bought by warnermedia?, the song from willy wonka is playing in main street area, willy wonka arcade games in both game center and studio 28 arcade, suicide squad themed scare zone in six flags magic mountain, the use of harley quinn in suicide squad form, animaniacs meet and greet areas (picture below), impreactical jokers (which is a warner bros show) ads in the congo rapids, and now superman vr in both six flags and warner bros theme parks!?!?!?!?!?!?!, i love to see warnermedia to buy six flags, they could do better theming, shows, special events, meet and greets, and promotions for upcoming movies. Medusa42 257
^No, I don’t see AT&T (owner of warnermedia) buying Six Flags. They would just make memberships more confusing by locking people into multi-year contracts when you bundle your Six Flags membership with cell phone/internet/tv/and home phone service. 1

The Master 147
Went to the park today and saw there was some large emergency response setup in the drop off lot. Big tents and several large camper bunks. Edited September 12, 2018 by The Master
29yrswithaGApass 1,552
I would imagine its a gathering/staging area for sending help to the Carolinas. It was on the news tonight that teams are heading that way to be on standby after the storm.

Which park has the Animaniacs at? My kids love them. I remember a long time ago (late 90's) they were there. I was also groped by Wacko lol (there's a picture floating around here somewhere)

Go to the Membership Portal - https://www.sixflags.com/greatadventure/manage-pass Hit Update Account link. Box for Rewards Program enrollment should be on the bottom of that page.
