Right now, there are signs for a big coastal storm for next weekend. If it happens, it might mess up the last weekend before Halloween.

^ Or the storm will move offshore this weekend offcourse.

I haven't gone on a Saturday or Sunday but visited the park on Thursday or Friday the last 3 years in a row and it's very low crowds. Thursday and Friday may have a few more closed rides. Last year Runaway Mine Train and Bizarro were closed on Thursday and Friday but opened on Saturday and Sunday.

The last few hours are usually really empty, I had a solo ride at Skull Mountain last year later in the day on the Thursday they were open.

Aren't the Demon District arena, Showcase, and Plymouth Rock Assurance Arena are the only main 3 theaters now? There is the one in Looney Tunes Seaport, but it already has stuff going on.

I think of those the Northern Star Arena and Adventure Theater in are the only ones regularly used. I think the Batman Stunt Arena and Showcase get more of their use during FF and HITP. And I'm trying to figure out the crowds, too. I'm trying to visit November 3 while I'm home for the weekend from college. I'm assuming by then the FF crowds will have died down.

Much of the crowd that weekend is there for Grape Adventure. I don't think wait times for the rides will be bad,

Yeah, the picnic grove was hopping, but the park itself was pleasantly empty.

I have mentioned it to myself and friends during visits so far this year, but it had slipped my mind for a while. I don't get what is up with the lack of Superman this season. I get that Batman is all the rage now so using him probably works out well as often as they do, but for Heaven's sake we have Green Lantern and Aquaman who don't even have rides in the park themed after them, but no Superman!! Thank for reigniting my curiosity on this topic :)

Green Lantern got a ride

Anyway, does anyone know who drew the Cyborg artwork on Cyber Spin? I found the art of the Justice League + Cyborg featured on the "Half Man, Half Machine" sign in the queue on Tumblr standalone, so maybe it's stock art for DC promotional material drawn by somebody else and not drawn by one of the current DC Comic artists?

I was buying a 2019 season pass and on processing paper, it says the pass expires 1/5/2020. New Years Day is on a Wednesday in 2020 so it looks like Six Flags has already decided they are going to be open on the 4th and 5th and maybe the 2nd and 3rd as well that year. 😃

So ACE event is coming this weekend, is going to be news about El Diablo, 2020 coaster (RMC Raptor), and more?

Literally, every thing you say is TRex or Raptor. I hope we never get them just because i am so SICK of hearing you talk about it, on every stinkin thread.

Rant over.

No, The Only Thing Better Would be if GA gets a Dinosaur Exhibit like Dutch Wonderland or Edaville, but on a Larger Scale.

There were no mentions of Great Adventure's future plans at yesterday's ACE event.

However, Morey's Piers is planning on adding 5 new coasters in the next 10 years, depending on their income of course.

As far as the Raptor wish goes maybe you should give it a break for awhile.

Looks like the park is almost at Fright Fest level wait times today. Nitro 85 minutes, Justice League 90 minutes and some of the other major coasters around an hour.

I went to the park around 7:30 last night. It must’ve died down since the afternoon because only JL and SkyWay had lines. Everything else was a station wait. Wonder was packing a sizeable line for the 8:00 show, with people waiting as far back as Cyborg with a line wrapped through Metropolis. I wouldn’t be shocked if the theater hit capacity with that showing.

Park was packed tonight. Got there around 4pm and stayed until almost 7. Nitro took 45 minutes (for front row),  and Justice League was an hour. The lines for food/drink were ridiculously long. The line to see Wonder was very long as well, the showing I went to was completely full. I don't know if crowds have been like this often, but they should really consider opening the rest of the park up to deal with these lines.

HitP is only really that busy during the week break between Christmas and New Year, when everyone is off work and school. Considering how the park is not very full the other 95% of the time, i'm not sure it'd be worth it from the park's perspective to staff and maintain another large section of the park when it'd sit almost completely empty during the rest of the event. Plus, I'm pretty sure Toro is very temperamental in the cold, Ka is notoriously unstable even in optimal conditions, and Zu would not be fun that high up in the cold. 3/4 major rides closed, leaving a very empty area of the park.

Just was reading how SFMM was at capacity for their parking lot yesterday and extended HitP through next weekend.

Based on weather closures and SFGAm adding HiTP, I wouldn't be shocked if the highest attendance for 2018 was SFMM, SFGAm, and then SFGAdv.  It will be interesting to see how close Mexico gets to the 3 million visitors mark in coming years.  They have expanded their operating schedule for Q1 of 2019 and are working towards operating 365 days a year in future seasons.

And it'll only get worse next year, as Maxx Force will almost certainly draw more crowds than Wonder Woman. GAdv has such a big market to tap into, being dead center of both NYC and Philly, but corporate refuses to make the changes that'll bring in crowds.

Okay guys this is the last day of operation at Great Adventure today. Happy New Year everyone!

Looks the opening day will be March 30th, I wish there will be year round at Great Adventure for January-June for weekends, weekdays for June-September.

I hope during 2020 Six Flags Theme Park announcet there will be new coaster and year round at Great Adventure in August.
