So yea...Im going to the park tonight even though its raining. For a few reasons.

A: I need to ride GASM badly (I'm a junkie)

B: It's raining, which means Rolling Thunder will be AWESOME!

To me, this just looks like an accident waiting to happen:

I foresee lots of mechanical issues and downtime. I don't even want to think of possibilities worse than that!

Woohoo ... What a beautiful Fall day today. 57 degrees out, sunny, and breezy. It doesn't get any better than this :)

90 deg would be much better. It is suppose to get back to 70 by Sunday :) , it was too chilly today. Well at least it was 65 here today.

Their commercials this year have all been pretty good. It looks like Cedar Fair got a really good ad agency, and although their commercials are pretty generic, they're effective.

I found this article in the newspaper! Way Cool

JACKSON — Six Flags Great Adventure is going to bring back their world renound coaster Viper acorrding to Six Flags media.

Viper, which was dismantled in 2005, was a crowd favorite that Six Flags wrongfully tore down. Six Flags has recently confirmed that the flying coaster Superman: Ulimate Flight was set for demolition in 2005, but the demolition crew was sent to the wrong site.

After demolition of Viper had begun. The Six Flags park president was quoted as saying "Unfortunately we cannot reverse the demolition process so we will just have to keep Superman where it is.

The General public, although upset that their beloved Viper was leaving, had accepted this decision. However, a brave group of young advocates, calling themselves the Super Viper Love Squad, could not accept this decision.

Heywood Jablomee, president of the SVLS stated, "Viper was the ultimate in cool. When we found out Six Flags was getting rid of it and putting a pile of wood in its place, we knew we were destined to ensure Viper's return."

Jablomee and the 80 other members of the SVLS organized a protest at Six flags Headquarters late last Tuesday. The rally brought about 150,000 protesters, all demanding the return of Viper.

Six Flags Great Adventure has seemingly caved in, releasing a press release yesterday morning. The release states, "Due to overwhelming demand, Six Flags Great Adventure shall see the return of Viper next spring. We will immediately start deconstruction of Kingda Ka, and Viper shall be ressurected in Kingda Ka's current space."

Six Flags has also announced that they will be resurrecting the TOGO company, Viper's manufacturer who had closed its doors a few years earlier. "It is important for Viper to be exactly the same as it was, so we feel it neccesary to provide the neccesary funding for TOGO to reopen its doors and remanufacture Viper."

Viper is expected to make its return by Spring of 2009.
