This looks great. It woulda been right up my alley that is for sure. And yet this is another item I don't remember even hearing about it, but if they had it today you can bet that is where you would be finding me.

I remember when they had the event in the parking lot in 1993 guests were complaining up a storm about having to walk around the fences to get to the main entrance. People also complained when Superman was first built. Some people just always complain !

Lately, I have been organizing a BUNCH of park stuff and ran across a video tape containing a show on the opening of Euro Disney from April 1992 that I had recorded. For some reason, I instantly remembered that a GA advertisement aired during the show - at the time I thought it was cool that Great Adventure and Euro Disney were in the same show!

 

I was pleasantly surprise to see that there were actually two Great Adventure commercials - a general one referencing Disneyland and one promoting the 1992 Sports Festival. As soon as I convert them to digital I'll add them to the commercials gallery.

wow, the park looks so naked back in 92, i remember hitting that event it was pretty cool when your a kid to see shaqs shoes in person!
