GreatAdventureHistory.com is excited to announce our brand new book Images of Modern America: Six Flags Great Adventure!

This all-new edition is a follow-up to our 2009 Images of America: Six Flags Great Adventure and contains never before seen content including photos, plans, graphics, and models of our NJ park.  We are in the final stages of editing and the book will be available this coming spring,

We look forward to sharing this all-color salute to the history of Great Adventure with everyone.

Looks like I know that I will ask my family to get me for my birthday. Sounds great. I enjoyed the first book and I'm looking forward to this one.

I'm looking forward to the release of this book. The first book was great and a nice way to help get through the offseason.

Really glad for you guys again. I still flip thru the other Book on occasion, it's one of my prized possesions from the Park. Hope you come back to the Hamilton Barnes & Nobles again too.

Thank you everyone.  We did this volume a little differently than the first.  We approached it from more of a departmental angle rather than purely chronological so there are chapters on rides, entertainment, etc. The color photos really make it "pop".  We hope you will like it.

And these pictures are about 90% "new" old pictures, never shown on the website or the first book.

That's really awesome. Glad a search that has taken years has finally paid-off. Hopefully some "new" Super Sidewinder pics turned up too. I'll wait for the Book to know the answer.

In some cases we wanted to use pictures but couldn't because of space constraints, so a bunch of new stuff will either show up in the book, or as updated spotlights or spotlight extras in the future.

We received a publication date... May 2nd!  But if it is anything like last time it could be a little earlier.

It is already listed on Amazon so it must be for real!
