What rides/attractions were at this spot when the park originally opened?

There were no rides there, just the Administration Building with all the park offices. Since that moved in the early 80's the space was used as a warehouse until they expanded the Boardwalk to the edge in 1984 when the Sarajevo Bobsled was built.

I always remember walking past this and seeing it on the map, but never got the chance to do it. All I knew was that you had to pay extra for it so that was incentive enough not to Posted Image

I only went on this once. I was the gunman and my co-rider was the pilot. He wasn't too good of a pilot as we spent most of our time inverted. It is hard to be a gunman when all the targets are upside down!

I never did Alcatraz, so the writeup may be a little short on details. We welcome anyone who rode it to help fill in the story.
