Who owns the rights to the original Tiger/Balloon Image that graced the inaugural program cover? Were the rights to that image sold along with the park to Six Flags? Has Six Flags ever used the image?
Kind regards,
ML

Yes, the rights were owned by Great Adventure inc, and are now owned by Six Flags Great Adventure.

It's a beautiful image which represented Great Adventure like no other icon could; I'd love to see them revive it!

Unfortunately, they do not want a logo that represents the park. They want generic logos that can be used for all the parks. They don't want each park to have it's own identity. Stripping the parks of their identities was one of the worst decisions the company ever made. Hopefully one day they will realize this and stop trying to make them all identical to each other.
