Is it worth going to the theme park tomorrow? It's going to be hotter than the 4th. How were the crowds on the 4th?

Park wise the 4th wasn't so bad, highest count i heard was 9,000 something but not positive on that. Fireworks on the other hand was CROWDED.

Up until 8pm or so the lines were really lite. We practically walked onto Kingda Ka at 4pm with only a three train wait.

That is really weird since I was at the park on a Tuesday the week before the 4th and it was jammed, and it wasn't a concert night either. GADV is usually overflowing on holidays like most parks.

We thought it was really stange too. The only thing we could think of is that everyone went to the waterpark being it was so hot (and so crowded in HH).

The lazy river doesn't look like it would be fun with so many people walking. I'm glad the slide will have single tubes since if I do make it to HH this season, I was expecting I would have to skip it if no single riders were allowed.

Also may not have been as many bus groups booked that day.

Curious what about the Fender Bender delays was "beyond the park's control." Not sure how much you can say about it, but also not sure how a simple bumper car installation gets delayed until August. . . .

If the manufacturer hasn't completed it yet, or it has been delayed in shipping. For something like this, it has to be shipped in containers from Europe and anything can happen to delay it.

I thought Bertazzon was making Fender Benders. Aren't the a US based company?
