this picture lies the workers ive seen are never happy

Can anyone confirm for me that such a thing actually existed and that I'm not making things up in my mind?

I have a vague recollection of a kid's movie from my childhood (in the 70's or possibly early 80's).  I'm 99% sure that it ran on PBS (Channel 13 in  New York).  I have absolutely no memory of what it was about and have doubts as to whether I ever even watched it all the way through.  I think I may have just flipped to the channel looking for Sesame Street or something.

I think it had something to do with kids going to some magical land (a la Wizard of Oz or Narnia) and the magical land was represented by The Yum Yum Palace.  I don't think I had much interest in the movie at the time but I stopped on the channel and said to myself "Hey, that's Great adventure!  What gives?"

Please, someone tell me the name of this thing and reassure me that I wasn't just tripping on a sugar high of Twinkies, Pop Rocks and Kool Aid.

this will be intresting to see in 2012 because the lion sign has been a fair part of the park until it was put down to see a new one up

I think it's a excellent idea for them to open Old Country. I still remember the last season when I had more fun than ever and I just saw the remains and it broke my heart to see this and not for them to at least remove the rides to somewhere else.
