SeaWorld Orlando New Flying Coaster for 2009

Recommended Posts

Recent reports of guest surveys at SeaWorld Orlando included the mention of a flying coaster. Possible ideas included a ray theme, with the trains at some point doing some kind of splash element like the Sheikra and Griffon coasters, creating a splash without getting riders soaked.

This sounds like a great idea, and the ultra-competitive Orlando theme park market will require all the parks adding bigger, better new attractions to try to compete with Universal's addition of Harry Potter.

I know someone in Admin there and they say the park didn't pass that yet, but it would probubly be built.

If this does get built, I'm sure it would be very interactive and well themed. This isn't going to be themed with just the colors, that's for sure!

That has to be one of the best commercials ive seen...EVER!

Personally I love Manta Rays, I have seen them Scuba Diving and they are absolutely beautiful the way they glide in water. Thats besides the point though, if Kraken is a barometer for how good this ride is, this may very well become your #1 flyer and a staple for future expansion of this ride!

Well, yes. I would like them to show more footage of people having fun on the rides and in shows instead of a montage that is geared towards getting 15 year olds pumped. I know it's a huge demographic for Six Flags, but I just like the commercials from the 80's and 90's better. It reminded me of the good times I could be having if I were at the park rather than remind me that they haven't yet removed Nitro, El Toro and Kingda Ka.
