The countdown to the launch of the Safari Off Road Adventure continues and the May 23rd opening is just six days away!  Crunch time!  Here are some photos of all the construction happening around the park.

Today in Camp Aventura a major "stone" tower was lifted into place featuring some really cool animal artwork.
The six Big River Racer tubes appear to be complete.  Although the ride is not scheduled for next weekend's season opener of Hurricane Harbor, it should open shortly thereafter.
Tents and facilities are being set up in the parking lot for the upcoming Skate and Surf event.
There was a huge crowd for a spring Friday!
Finishing touches on Yum Yum! Flower time at G.A.!
The Safari Off Road Adventure truck has been removed from the construction area. This will be the entrance way for the new SORA.
A new gift shop will stand near the entrance to the new ride.
The old BOTW bridge is gone.
The exit ramp is up.
A new electrical shed has been built within the queue area. Queue bars await installation.
Drilling the holes for the queue bars.
The Log Flume is being painted.
There will be fireworks on Thursdays in July.
Critters from the Safari Discoveries area will soon debut at Camp Aventura.
The fence surrounding the former Fun Factory in Looney Tunes Seaport has been painted.  Hopefully the train is still planned as a replacement. If all goes well, Congo Rapids should open next weekend for its "Memorial Day to Labor Day" operating season.
(Left) Bugs is MIA.
Later in the day the walls to the new gift shop were lifted into place.
You can see the speakers and TV monitor installed in this SORA truck.
